Guitar Hero Encore Rocks the 80's...

As awesome as the song list is, (and believe me, it IS awesome), I do have to admit, I was just a bit disappointed. I mean... only 30 songs? Come on.

And how could they make a music game based on 80's songs with none by Billy Idol? Or the Bangles? Two reccomendations for ya: "Dancing with Myself" and "Hazy Shade of Winter". Yeah, sure, the Bangles just covered it, but their version was MUCH more awesome.

And I STILL didn't get the B-52s' "Rock Lobster" included in the set list... This is a personal favorite and goal, so I can't really say anything about it being "essential" 80's music other than the fact that you can find it on practically EVERY NEW WAVE COMPILATION IN THE COUNTRY! >< Not to mention the fact that Pandora's 80's makeover was straight up B-52s look.

But, all things said and done, they did have a solid set list. I mean, "The Warrior" was my first favorite song EVER, so I was dancin' when I found out that it was included. And I also like the retro look they gave Johnny Napalm. Partially because it was the hairstyle I had when I was a kid. :P
